The 2's....

Well, Pate is now, officially, 2 months old.....and/or 9 weeks depending on who is counting!

We went to the Dr. today. The 2 month visit is the absolute worst. He had 4 shots and an oral vaccine. I think it was much harder on Mommy than Pate though. He was totally over it 2 minutes later with a good nurse session and then off to a nap.

He continues to be an incredible baby. He sleeps REALLY well (groan from some of my friends:-)typically in bed by 6:30 and asleep until 4 or 5 to nurse then back to bed until around 7:30 when Aggie can't wait to check on him. We usually hear her through the monitor announcing "Pate wake, Mommy" as if we hadn't placed a monitor in his room as well!

He is a VERY healthy baby. He is weighing in at 13 pounds even (80%) and 24 inches (also 80%) and is right on track developmentally. He LOVES to talk and smiles constantly.

Aggie is also in the midst of the 2's. She is such a wonderful kid, but we definitely have our "toddler" days when she tests the limit for EVERY household rule. I continue to acknowledge to myself on these days that she is simply a CEO in training. Hopefully, she'll make loads of money one day bossing others around and pushing the limits and put us in a very fancy-dancy retirement village!

Here are some recent pics of my man...if you will note the absence of Aggie, my goal is to take more pictures of the two of them together, but really, have you tried to photograph a barely 2 year old and a barely 2 month old????? I am trying desperately to grow a third arm....I'm thinking from the forehead....
