Happy Valentine's Day!!!

I just wanted to post a picture of the gorgeous flowers my sweet husband gave to me despite having a very sick child the entire previous week, and a new job. I warned him on day five of the flu that, despite my well intentioned, previously made plan, he would be getting zip, zilch, and nada for the big day. He completely understood and pointed out the fact that I hadn't left the house except for carting Pate to daycare!

What some of you may not know, is Valentine's day marks our first date 8 years ago. Todd pulled a last minute, very nice, very fun, date with only 1 day warning and THAT day was a Sunday. The date was so fun....and funny as I met BOTH of his parents that night....but we'll leave that story to another post. Glad you made the effort, Babe, and that you continue to do so. You are appreciated even when I forget to tell you.
